Exchange Program with Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School

The School of Science at Kitasato University has established exchange program with Tranlational Medicine Division of Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School since 2009.
The objective of this program is to provide students at Kitasato University an opportunity to meet great researchers and learn about American culture and nature. In 2009, 2010, and 2012 the School of Science arranged Japanese undergraduate and graduate students to visit Harvard. In 2011, young investigators studying at Translational Medicine Division at Harvard visited Kitasato University.

At Harvard University

The School of Science, Kitasato University has arranged for undergraduate and graduate students to attend meetings and labs at Harvard. The students visited labs at Translational Medicine Division, Physics Department, and Mass General Hospital. The visit included time for the students to visit City of Boston.
