From Narita Airport to Sagami-?no Station

1. By bus

There is a direct highway bus from Narita Airport to Sagami-?no Station North Gate(相模大野駅北口). It takes a little over 2 hours and costs ?3,500 for a one-way ticket.
NB: Sagami-?no Station North Gate is not the same bus stop as Sagami-?no Parking(相模大野立体駐車場).

In Terminal 1 of Narita Airport, the Kanachū ? Keisei bus ticket counter is located in the Arrival Lobby on the ground floor. The bus bound for Sagami-?no Station departs from bus stop 5 just outside the terminal.

In Terminal 2 of Narita Airport, the Kanachū ? Keisei bus ticket counter is located in the Arrival Lobby on the ground floor. The bus bound for Sagami-?no Station departs from bus stop 12 just outside the terminal.

The bus arrives in Sagami-?no at bus stop 6 near the North Gate of the station. Buses to Kitasato University depart from bus stop 1 and 3 in the adjacent lane.

Please note that if you wish to take the bus from Sagami-?no Station to Narita Airport, you are required to reserve a seat beforehand by calling the Kanachū Highway Bus Reservation Centre: 046-321-1212. The fare can be paid (in cash only) at the bus stop in Sagami-?no prior to boarding.

2.By train

At Narita Airport, take the Narita Express (成田エクスプレス) from the basement of either terminal to Shinjuku (新宿). This takes about 83 minutes and costs ?3,110 for a seat in an ordinary car. At Shinjuku Station, transfer to the Odakyū Line (小田急線) and get off in Sagami-?no (相模大野). This takes approximately 40 minutes by express (急行) train and costs ?360. Buses to Kitasato University depart from bus stop 1 and 3 on the ground floor just outside the North Gate of Sagami-?no Station.

From the closest train stations to Kitasato University

1.From Sagami-?no Station on the Odakyū Line (about 25 minutes)
Take bus 大53 from bus stop 1 or bus 大54, 大55, or 大59 from bus stop 3 on the ground floor just outside the North Gate of Sagami-?no Station (相模大野駅). These bus lines all end at Kitasato University Hospital (博狗体育在线_狗博体育直播【官方授权网站】@病院). Alternatively, you can take bus 相25, 大25, or 大68 from bus stop 1, but these buses go to Sagamihara Station (相模原駅) so be sure to get off at the bus stop in front of Kitasato University (博狗体育在线_狗博体育直播【官方授权网站】@).

To get to Sagami-?no from Shinjuku (新宿), take the express (急行) or rapid express (快速急行) train on the Odakyū Line (小田急線). This takes 35 to 40 minutes.
2.From Sagamihara Station on the JR Yokohama Line (about 25 minutes)
Take bus 相21, 相25, 相27, 相28, or 相29 from bus stop 2 near the South Gate of Sagamihara Station. NB: Sagamihara on the JR Yokohama Line is not the same station as Odakyū-Sagamihara (小田急相模原) on the Odakyū Odawara Line. These bus lines all continue to different destinations, so be sure to get off at the bus stop in front of Kitasato University.

To get to Sagamihara from Yokohama (横浜), take the rapid (快速) train on the JR Keihin-T?hoku Line (JR京浜東北線). If the rapid train is bound for Hachi?ji (八王子), it will continue as a JR Yokohama Line (JR横浜線) from Higashi-Kanagawa (東神奈川) onwards so there is no need to transfer. If the rapid train is bound for ?miya (大宮) or Minami-Urawa (南浦和), however, transfer in Higashi-Kanagawa to the rapid train on the JR Yokohama Line bound for Hachi?ji and get off in Sagamihara. This takes 35 to 50 minutes.

From Kitasato University to the closest train stations

Buses bound for Sagamihara Station South Gate (bus 相21, 相25, 相27, 相29, 大25, and大68) depart from the bus stop Kitasato University just outside the main gate, and buses for Sagami-?no Station North Gate (bus 相25, 大15, 大25, 大53, and大68) depart from the adjacent bus stop Kitasato University Hospital.

From Sagami-?no, the Odakyū Line goes east to Shinjuku, west to Odawara (小田原), and south to Katase-Enoshima (片瀬江ノ島).

From Sagamihara, the JR Yokohama Line goes north to Hachi?ji and south to Higashi-Kanagawa.

Getting Around

For those who intend to use public transport regularly, we recommend that you buy a PASMO or Suica card. These rechargeable smart cards can be used interchangeably on virtually all trains and buses in the Tokyo metropolitan area. They can be purchased at stations from ticket offices and ticket vending machines. A ??500 deposit is required that will be refunded along with any remaining money when you return the card.
