Kitasato International Contribution Award in 2021
The ceremony for the Kitasato International Contribution Award in 2021 was held on December 17.
Kitasato University established the Kitasato International Contribution Award in 2017. The Kitasato International Contribution Award recognizes outstanding achievements in international service.
The 2021 recipient is Dr. Akihito Watabe, a graduate of Kitasato University School of Medicine. As Health Financing Officer of the World Health Organization and Manager of UHC2030, he has contributed to a multi-stakeholder partnership for equitable and sustainable progress towards universal health coverage (UHC).
The award lecture was held online and will be limited release on campus.
