Kitasato International Contribution Award Founded

Kitasato University founded the Kitasato International Contribution Award in 2017. The Kitasato International Contribution Award recognizes distinguished achievement in international service. It is given once annually to the alumnus/alumna.

The first winner is Professor Mitsuhiro Kida, Kitasato University School of Medicine. He has contributed to education and spread of technology for therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy not only domestically but also internationally.

 The award lecture and ceremony wad held on February 23.
