A Museum Traces the Immemorial History of Oriental Medicine

The Oriental Medicine Museum attached to the Oriental Medicine Research Center exhibits invaluable items related to the development of oriental medicine over 3,000 years of Chinese history and 1,500 years of Japanese history.
The Museum is open to the general public. Druggist's mortars, pillboxes, stethoscopes, and other historic implements used in oriental medicine can be viewed, in addition to old texts, some 300 medicine specimens, and a wealth of material concerning acupuncture and moxibustion.
